Aston Martin Heritage Festival

Brooklands Museum

A fantastic day out at The Aston Martin Heritage Festival held at Brooklands Museum on the 14th August. Weather was fantastic and a great crowd turned out in full force to come and see some of the best Aston Martins in the world. Mirabile made a lot of new contacts across the Aston World and now have even more access to off market cars.

Here is an overview from The Aston Martin Heritage Trust (www.astonmartinheritagefestival.co.uk)

Following on from the huge success of the first event in 2021 which was held at Dallas Burston Polo Club in Southam near to Royal Leamington Spa in Central England, the trust have decided to do a bigger event and this time at the world famous Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey, UK.

There is a lot to celebrate given Aston Martins long history with Brooklands, such as:

  • The pre-war Aston Martin factory was just 10 miles away from Brooklands in Feltham, Middlesex, UK
  • All pre-war Aston Martins were road tested at Brooklands
  • Aston Martin set 10 world records at Brooklands in 1922 - In one day!!!
  • The first ever motor race Aston Martin took part in was at Brooklands in 1920

Aston Martin are also celebrating 75 years since David Brown bought the company and there were a lot of DB models on display at the event.

And finally..... it is also 50 years since Aston Martin introduced the iconic V8 engine...

The day was kindly sponsored by one of our close partners, Guy and his amazing team at HWM (www.hwmastonmartin.co.uk)
